Will compression ruin my quality?+
We aim to keep files usable. 'Compress to a target' tools auto-tune the bitrate, quality or image resolution to land near your limit while staying watchable/readable, and we never hand back a file larger than your original.
What's the difference between 'compress' and 'compress to a size'?+
Plain 'compress' just makes the file meaningfully smaller. 'Compress to a size' (KB/MB) targets a specific limit — ideal when a form, exam, email or app enforces a maximum file size.
