Common questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?+
No. Merging runs entirely in your browser with a local PDF engine — your files never leave your device and nothing is sent to a server. Most other tools, including iLovePDF, upload your PDFs to their servers first.
Is there a file or page limit?+
No artificial caps. You can merge as many PDFs as your browser's memory allows, free, with no signup or watermark.
Can I reorder the files?+
Yes — use the up/down controls on each row to set the exact order before you merge.
What if a PDF is password-protected?+
Remove the password first (we have an Unlock PDF step for files you have the right to open). Encrypted PDFs can't be merged as-is.
Does it keep quality?+
Yes — pages are copied exactly, with no re-compression, so text stays sharp and selectable.
