Worked example
A photo, a screenshot and a PDF in one batch
We compressed three files together at the Balanced level: a 826,734 byte JPG photo, a 374,243 byte PNG screenshot and a 4,315,307 byte PDF report. All 3 got smaller, to 63,663, 100,638 and 219,512 bytes, and came back in one zip of 330,158 bytes.
Measured on 19 October 2026 by running the conversion engine this page uses on our own test files.
What it does not do
It does not set a different level per file: one compression level applies to the whole batch.
Common questions
Can I mix file types?+
Yes. Drop in images, audio, video and PDFs together, each file is compressed by the right engine for its type, then everything is bundled into one ZIP with the original filenames.
How many files can I do at once?+
Up to 30 files per batch. For very large sets, run a few batches, each one comes back as its own ZIP.
Will any file get bigger?+
No. If a file can't be made smaller (or its type isn't compressible), we include the original untouched, never a larger version.
Is it private?+
Your files are uploaded over an encrypted connection, compressed on our server, and both the uploads and the ZIP are deleted after 1 hour. No account, no watermark.
What's the catch: is it free?+

Can I batch compress PDF files?+
Yes. Drop several PDFs in at once and each one is compressed, then all of them come back in one zip with their original names. In our test a 4,315,307 byte report came back at 219,512 bytes.
Is this a multiple file compressor for any file type?+
For images, audio, video and PDFs, yes, and they can be mixed in one batch. Other file types are not accepted when you pick them, so the batch only holds files it can shrink.
