Common questions

What sizes can I target?+

Any size in MB. Use the presets (8/10/25/50 MB) for common caps like Discord and Gmail, or type your own. We auto-tune the bitrate to land near it while keeping the video watchable.

Will it still look okay?+

We tune the bitrate to the video's length, so short clips stay crisp. Long videos have to share the budget across more footage, so trimming first helps a lot.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?+

It's uploaded over an encrypted connection, compressed on our server, and both the upload and the result are deleted after 1 hour. No account, no watermark.

What if it can't hit the target?+

We give you the smallest watchable version and tell you it's just over, for a long video, trim it or pick a larger target.

Which formats work?+

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and most common video files. MP4 comes back as MP4.
