Common questions

Is my image uploaded?+

No. The entire watermark is drawn on a canvas in your browser, so the image never leaves your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I tile the watermark?+

Yes. Tick 'Tile' to repeat the text diagonally across the whole image, which is much harder to crop out than a single corner mark.

Can I add a logo image?+

This tool does text watermarks. For a logo, export a PNG of your logo as the text-free base and overlay it in an editor, or use a semi-transparent text mark, which covers most needs.

Free, no watermark-on-the-watermark?+

Right. It adds only YOUR watermark. No FileWhirl branding, no signup, free.
