Common questions
Does it convert every page?+
Yes. That's the point. You get one image per page, all zipped together. PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG do the same for a multi-page PDF; this page lets you pick the format in one place.
JPG or PNG, which should I pick?+
JPG makes smaller files and is great for photos and scanned pages. PNG is lossless and keeps sharp text and line art crisp, at a larger file size.
What resolution are the images?+
Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, a good balance of clarity and file size for screen viewing and most printing.
Is my file private?+
Yes. It's uploaded over an encrypted connection to our private storage (Supabase, named in our privacy policy), rendered on our own server, never by an outside conversion service, and the upload and result are deleted after 1 hour.
Is there a limit?+
No watermark and no signup. Free covers 10 server conversions a day, up to 100 MB a file. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the file limit to 2 GB.
