Convert TXT to DOCX.
Turn a plain text file into a Word document you can format, comment on and share, with your line breaks kept as written.
From notes to a document
Notes, exported logs, transcripts and drafts often start as .txt. A Word document lets you add headings, styles, comments and track changes, and is what most colleagues expect to receive.
Text stays as written
Plain text has no formatting, so the document starts plain too. Your line structure is kept, ready for you to style in Word.
Size change
A DOCX adds a small package of styles and metadata, so a short note grows to a few kilobytes. Large texts stay close to their original size.

Common questions
Is it free?+
Yes. Convert TXT to DOCX free. No signup and no watermark. Free covers 10 server conversions a day, up to 100 MB a file. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the file limit to 2 GB.
Is my file private?+
Your file is uploaded to a private bucket, converted on our own engine, and auto-deleted after 1 hour. It is never sent to a third-party converter.
Will my line breaks be kept?+
Yes. Each new line in the text file stays a new line in the document, so addresses, lists and poems keep their shape instead of running together.
What about accented and non-Latin characters?+
UTF-8 text converts cleanly, including accents and Cyrillic, Greek and Chinese characters, as long as the text file was saved as UTF-8.
