Is my file private?+
Your file is uploaded to a private bucket, converted on our own engine, and auto-deleted after 1 hour. It is never sent to a third-party converter.
Should I use MOBI or EPUB for a Kindle?+
Amazon's Send to Kindle service stopped accepting MOBI in 2022 and now takes EPUB. Use MOBI for older Kindles you load over USB, and PDF to EPUB for Send to Kindle.
Why is the layout messy?+
A PDF stores positioned text, not paragraphs. Simple, single-column documents convert well. Multi-column pages, tables, footnotes and scanned pages with no text layer are much harder to rebuild.
