Convert EPS to GIF.
Render an EPS logo or illustration to a GIF image for the web, email or any tool that cannot open EPS.
What EPS is
Encapsulated PostScript is the long-standing format for logos and print artwork. Designers and printers use it, but browsers, phones and office apps generally cannot display it.
Rendered to the artwork's bounds
Ghostscript crops to the EPS bounding box, so you get the artwork itself rather than a full page with white margins. Logos with a few flat colours map to GIF without visible change.
Size change
The GIF is usually small. Detailed illustrations with gradients will show banding in GIF; use EPS to PNG for those.
How it works
- 01
Upload your EPS
Drop a file or pick one from your device. Private by default.
- 02
Render with Ghostscript
Ghostscript draws the artwork at 200 DPI, then it is saved as a GIF.
- 03
Download
Grab your GIF.
No Illustrator needed
Rendered at 200 DPI, cropped to the artwork
Private uploads, auto-deleted after 1 hour
No watermark, no signup to try

EPS to GIF (rasterising)
EPS is vector artwork; GIF is a pixel image. We render it at a sensible resolution, which fixes how sharp it stays when scaled up later. Pick a generous size if you'll enlarge it: pixels can't be added back afterwards.
Common questions
Is it free?+
Yes. Convert EPS to GIF free. No signup and no watermark. Free covers 10 server conversions a day, up to 100 MB a file. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the file limit to 2 GB.
Is my file private?+
Your file is uploaded to a private bucket, converted on our own engine, and auto-deleted after 1 hour. It is never sent to a third-party converter.
Will the GIF be as sharp as the EPS?+
At the rendered size it looks crisp. A GIF is pixels, so enlarging it later will blur, unlike the vector EPS. Keep the EPS for print.
Which format is best from EPS?+
PNG for a sharp image with transparency, SVG to stay vector on the web, PDF for print. Choose GIF when the destination requires it.
