Convert PS to PDF.
Turn a PostScript file into a PDF that anyone can open. Ghostscript interprets every page and writes vector text and graphics, not screenshots.
What a PS file is
PostScript is a page description language from Adobe, used by printers, LaTeX workflows, scientific software and old print-to-file dialogs. A .ps file is really a small program that draws the pages, so most people cannot open it without special software.
Why PDF is the answer
PDF grew out of PostScript and keeps the same drawing model, so the conversion is faithful: fonts, vector graphics and page sizes carry across. The difference is that every device can open a PDF.
Multi-page documents
Unlike the PS to image routes, PS to PDF keeps every page of the document, in order, in one file.

PS to PDF
PS and PDF are vector formats, so the artwork stays resolution-independent. It scales to any size without going blurry. Paths and text are preserved; fonts may be converted to outlines for portability.
Common questions
Is it free?+
Yes. Convert PS to PDF free. No signup and no watermark. Free covers 10 server conversions a day, up to 100 MB a file. Pro removes the daily limit and raises the file limit to 2 GB.
Is my file private?+
Your file is uploaded to a private bucket, converted on our own engine, and auto-deleted after 1 hour. It is never sent to a third-party converter.
Is the text selectable in the PDF?+
In most files, yes. Ghostscript keeps text as text and embeds the fonts it uses. Text that the PostScript program drew as outlines or images stays that way.
Will the PDF be smaller?+
Often, yes. PostScript is frequently written uncompressed, while PDF compresses page content and embeds each font once.
