Boomerang a clip. It ends where it began.

Your video plays through, then runs backwards to the first frame — so it loops with no jump. No settings, no watermark. Drop a clip in and take the loop out.

Common questions

What is a boomerang, exactly?+

The clip played through and then run in reverse, joined together. Because the last frame out is the first frame in, it loops seamlessly — there is no jump when it starts again. That is the whole appeal, and it is why the format is used for short social clips.

Why is the result silent?+

The audio is dropped on purpose. Reversed speech is noise, and half of a boomerang is always reversed, so keeping the sound would mean every clip needed muting afterwards. Boomerangs are a silent format everywhere they are used.

How long should the clip be?+

Short. One to three seconds is the usual range, because the result is twice the length and a loop stops being satisfying once it takes more than a moment to come back round. Trim it first if it is long.

Can I make it faster, or loop more times?+

Not here, and that is deliberate — this page does one thing. Run it through the video speed tool afterwards if you want it quicker. Repeats are a player setting rather than something to bake into a file: most social platforms loop short videos on their own.
